Ronald Preston Memorial Fund:
Ronald Preston was the first holder of the Samuel Ferguson Chair in Applied Theology at the University of Manchester and a distinguished contributor to what some call the “Manchester School of social theology”. The Memorial Fund was established in his memory by his widow, Betty Preston. It helps to fund projects in social theology run by the Department of Religions and Theology, including the annual Ferguson Lecture.
